Tips: Using Your Garbage Disposals

1. Dispose of everyday food waste scraps in the disposer
2. Run the disposer with a moderate flow of cold water when disposing small amounts of fat and grease
3. Grind peelings from the citrus fruits to freshen the drain
4. Grind small amounts of potato peels or carrot skins by feeding them slowly into the disposer
5. Avoid grinding extremely fibrous materials such as corn husks, celery and artichokes
6. Avoid using hot water when grinding food waste
7. Avoid turning off the flow of cold water or the disposer until grinding is completed

How to Take Care of My Faucet Finishes

1. We recommend you wash the faucet with a soft cloth.
2. Blot it dry with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
3. To remove hard water deposits and soap scum, use a 50/50 mix of vinegar or liquid Lysol and water.

How to Remove Mineral Deposits from My Aerator

1. Remove the aerator by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Soak in vinegar overnight and flush it with water
3. Rub it with a toothbrush if the deposits are stubborn.
